Interested in registering your son/daughter for a division that is not currently active?

Please send an email to iinman@activepulse.com with your child's: Gender, age, and anticipated time of completion for a one mile run on a track. Also, specify whether your child is more interested in recreation and game-based running activities, with maybe an occasional weekend "fun run"; or if they would rather participate in competitive meets on weekends and go longer distances at practice. Finally, we will need to know your child's weekday availability for practices. Someone will contact you when a division that best suits your son/daughter becomes active.

Alternatively, we offer private training sessions and semi-private (small group) training for kids in 4th grade or above. A program participation fee is required to participate in these programs, but they can be started at any time and scheduled flexibly.

10/15/2011:

The Striders U15 Division is now Active

We currently have a team of seven 7th - 9th grade boys who currently make up our U15 Striders team. Each athlete has qualified for the team by completing a mile in 6:15 or less and having an interest in USATF competitions and XC fun runs. We are able to accept 3 more boys onto this team who are of this age group and meet the performance qualification. Practices are free and meets are generally inexpensive. We practice together on Mondays and Tuesdays at 4 pm; athletes practice on their own on Thursdays and Fridays. Contact iinman@activepulse.com for info.

11/29/2010:

Congrats to Matt Salazar, who will officially be training for the XC National Junior Olympics this week

Good luck in Hoover Alabama on December 11th!
